At the heart of People for People beats a collective spirit, a force for positive change that transcends individual efforts. What began as the three founder’s aspiration to make a difference evolved into a dynamic community ready to extend a helping hand to those forced to flee their homes.
We are proud to share that during 2023, People for People touched 37,000 lives. More than twice the impact we had in 2022.
But beyond the numbers lies a story.
When the earthquakes in Turkey, Syria, and Morocco struck, People for People did not stand idly by. Instead, we rose to the occasion, mobilizing resources, fostering partnerships, and delivering emergency relief to those forced to flee their homes.
At home in the Netherlands, we sought to provide warmth and empowerment to unaccompanied minors who have faced so much to make it here. Our commitment translated into tangible actions – from supplying warm winter coats and essential hygiene products to offering tools for a brighter future, such as school bags, supplies, and laptops.
Through our Rolling Aid Events, we organized fun activities for the children, shared meals from their home countries, and listened as they shared their hopes and dreams for the future.
