We delivered and assembled relief housing units in villages across Al-Haouz, giving children renewed access to safe, temporary learning spaces after their schools were destroyed.
Right after the earthquake we responded quickly, delivering over 20,000 emergency relief items. But recovery required more than immediate aid. In close collaboration with SOS Children’s Villages and other Moroccan grassroots NGOs, we focused on helping children return to school by creating safe, temporary classrooms.
In partnership with Better Shelter, we installed relief housing units in villages across Al-Haouz to serve as schools. Local volunteers helped construct the units and received training to maintain and expand them – ensuring lasting support long after our mission ended.

Alongside emergency supplies, partners like Bird and Ricoh supported schools with laptops, printers, and essential materials – empowering teachers to rebuild learning environments with confidence.
From SOS Children’s Villages to Better Shelter and local volunteers, this project is a collective effort – rooted in local expertise, sustained by community ownership, and designed for long-term impact.
You can help us expand access to education in post-earthquake Morocco. Partner with us to fund and equip new classroom units, or donate supplies like educational materials, furniture, and technology. Financial contributions help cover the costs for the relief housing units, transport, and essential needs.. Companies can also support through in-kind donations or employee volunteer programs. Every contribution – big or small – helps children in Al-Haouz continue learning, dreaming, and building their future.
